Rotork assists BAE Systems in naval base actuator upgrades

เพรสเชอร์เกจน้ำ has been working with BAE Systems to improve a series of A-range actuators to IQ3 actuators which operate penstocks controlling movement of ships between the sea and transitional locks and dry docks at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Portsmouth (HMNB Portsmouth).
A series of A-range actuators had reached the tip of their operational life after lengthy service in a difficult setting. BAE Systems wished to retain all the advantages of electric actuators, so IQ3 actuators had been chosen. เครื่องวัดแรงดันเกจที่นิยมใช้ had to be specifically tailored by Rotork to overcome issues round confined areas and troublesome access.
IQ3 actuators and IS gearboxes have been mechanically adapted in order that both actuator and gearbox could be operated by hand with out entering the confined house. Rotork designed special hand auto levers and thru drive mechanisms for the actuator and gearbox to remove the need for confined area entry.
Actuators within the IQ range are watertight, offering ingress safety to IP66/68 at 20 m for 10 days. They have a complicated twin stacked show with configurable data logger performance, and an absolute place sensor provides reliability and accuracy.
