Krohne has launched its OPTIBAR PSM 1010 and OPTIBAR PSM 2010 ultra-compact strain switches for absolute and gauge stress measurement in gases and liquids.

Both devices are designed for basic automation applications corresponding to hydrostatic level measurement in open tanks, dry-run protection of delivery pumps or stress monitoring of compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Target industries embrace meals and beverage, water and wastewater, environmental and OEM process tools applications with restricted installation house.
The new switches function a 2-axis (multi-rotatable) display and adjustment module, a robust building (IP67), and fully configurable communication outputs for all possible configurations: IO-Link and PNP/NPN as commonplace I/O, and 4…20 mA, 0…10 V or NPN/PNP as secondary output. diaphragm seal offer excessive levels of temperature stability because of superior digital compensation.
