Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and full metering techniques. The firm employs around 1200 individuals and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has an extended custom of supporting clients and growing main industrial flow know-how for environment friendly, precise and secure dealing with of fluids,” stated Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we are constructing our presence and expertise offering inside constructive displacement pumps.”

Geveke, which was founded in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers superior and sophisticated process pump installations. The firm is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 employees and had revenues of approximately €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has robust engineering capability, offering complete industrial pump options from idea to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
