Atlas Copco has agreed to buy Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and full metering methods. The firm employs around 1200 individuals and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has a protracted tradition of supporting prospects and creating main industrial flow expertise for environment friendly, precise and safe handling of fluids,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through this acquisition we’re constructing our presence and expertise offering within optimistic displacement pumps.”
เกจวัดแรงดันpressuregauge , which was based in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers superior and complex process pump installations. The firm is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 employees and had revenues of approximately €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has robust engineering capability, offering complete industrial pump solutions from idea to commissioning,” stated Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is expected to be accomplished during the second quarter 2022.
The main part of the acquired companies will have its base within the Power and Flow division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be part of the Service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
