“Until a quantity of years in the past, the utilization of LNG as a marine fuel was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we at the second are seeing a sharp increase in fuel pump orders for deep sea vessels corresponding to container ships and car carriers,” said Johnny Houmann, chief gross sales officer at Svanehøj. “We were chosen as the provider of gas pump methods for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we aim to extend our market share additional within the coming years.”
