Evoqua Water Technologies has entered right into a definitive settlement to acquire Smith Engineering Inc, a US designer, producer and servicer of customized high purity water therapy equipment.
Headquartered in Chaska, Minnesota, Smith Engineering provides water remedy services, including filtration, UV, reverse osmosis, and deionization, for the biotech/pharmaceutical, knowledge centre, meals and beverage, healthcare, medical device and microelectronics markets. The company has more than 1,200 clients in North America.

When the deal closes, the Smith Engineering enterprise shall be a part of Evoqua’s Integrated Solutions and Services phase.
